Hello and
welcome to 21st
Century Pinups! We are truly glad to see you...
This
magazine has been in the works for a long time now, and we
still consider ourselves to be in something of a 'pilot' stage, so
expect lots of additions and little changes here and there as we polish
things up. We are constantly experimenting and getting to know our
format, so we hope you will stick around to watch us grow and develop.
We wanted
to make something that you can really interact with - a magazine you
could almost touch and hear the pages turn. The only difference is that
you can read it online whenever and wherever you wish - with no
inconvenient subscription or waiting for a copy to be mailed to you.
This
magazine is for you, so if
there are things we aren't doing or people we aren't writing about,
then feel free to nag us until we get it right!
We have
had
a lot of UK and US interest, and we are a UK based publication, but we
really
want this to be an international affair. There seems to be a burlesque
and/or pinup 'scene' in different countries - we strive for a balance
of content that interests everyone, in order that we learn about and
inspire each other, and hopefully collaborate with our performing
friends overseas!
Each
issue
will be glossier, fuller and better than the last as we grow more and
more sophisticated - so we hope you tag along for the ride...
